Our mission and vision at TURN$BURN$EARN Barrel Races is about “Promoting the sport of barrel racing and sportsmanship”. We are ABRA Bronze sponsors at the ABRA Finals, purchase an annual ABRA membership and support ABRA where ever possible. We have nothing but admiration for the association and what has been accomplished. We welcome working cooperatively with the ABRA. In June of this year we co-sanctioned two barrel races at Claresholm. The ABRA received a cheque for our efforts without any cost/expenditure or effort. We view this as a supportive effort to work cooperatively with ABRA. There are thousands of dollars in revenue ABRA can collect by working cooperatively and co-sanctioning events. It also supports members of both organizations to save/off-set hauling costs. As an example at Thorsby April 22 and 23, 2007 $1180. could have been the revenue generated for ABRA and another $900.+ at Claresholm April 7 & 8. Our barrel races most often attract 130 to 150 barrel racers on average, on double header weekends the numbers are outstanding.
